LJ has introduced a new "nudge" feature. If you haven't posted in over 7 days, your friends have the option of "nudging" you with a message that nicely says "Hey, you should post because you do it for my benefit. Now get back on your LJ, bitch."

If I disappear for a week, I have a good reason for doing so.

I just don't get it. It's rude - but that's why we have defriend. That lovely way to tell someone to foad.

I never go long enough without posting for the nudge feature to be useful anyway, but if I do disappear for seven days, I'll have a damn good reason for it. I don't want anybody getting any ideas.
