Running Late

Run outside today in my canvas Converse All-Stars and no coat. Which is usually fine for Arizona. Except today it's pouring rain and I'm early for my bus.

Fine. Run upstairs. Grab coat. Run downstairs. Realize canvas is soaking through. Also realize that I don't have my bus pass on me.

Run upstairs. Realize while switching shoes that I've missed my bus. Fine. I'll take the next one. Enjoy some quality 'net time (find out that of all cities in California, I'm personally best suited for the far too expensive Ventura - go fig).

Run downstairs for second bus. Get to bus stop. Realize that while I have coat and non-soaking through shoes on, I still do not have a bus pass.

Run upstairs. Get bus pass. Realize have missed second bus. Call work. Explain will be late. Grab bus pass, shove into pocket. Post to LJ about experience.
