The Flu: Best Present Ever
I spent the family winter holiday yesterday wrapped in a blanket, shivering because I had a low-grade fever. I'm still sick. Yay?
Roomie and I went to Mom's in the morning. Xoë was there, with her boyfriend Jason and their baby (fussy little thing) Keegan. We hung out for a while and then we opened presents.
Turned out that Mom actually loved my present. A fortuitous viewing of Swing Time the previous night had reignited her love for Astaire and Rogers, so yay.
Mom gave me two DVDs (Alfred Hitchcock Presents Season 2 and A Fish Called Wanda Special Edition), a book (The Great Movies by Roger Ebert), and a set of B-Movie Victims (little figurines that look like they're being chased by something huge).

sarakat), The Changeling DVD (thanks _jealousy_) and the Ravenous DVD (thanks timjr).
My sister got me Pocky and a Borders gift certificate. My grandma (Mom's side) got me socks.
After presents, we had dinner, which I barely touched due to sick, and then Mom,midnightfae and I played Sorry! and Scattegories. We tried to watch All About Eve after that, but we were both so faded that we ended up cutting out an hour in.
